Castle A1
Castle Assignment This is my castle! I used the rectangle tool and extruder to create the castle, and the gumball arrows to move the shapes on top of each other. The materials tool was used last to add texture and colour. This is my very first creation on Rhino. Coming from the ceramic department, this was a difficult shift in thinking. My process is strictly "hands-on on" and with this, I found myself wanting to almost reach into the computer screen and move the shapes with my hands. Needless to say, this class is going to challenge the way I am used to working. The difficulties for this assignment were that I struggled to shift my hands on 3D way of thinking, to a 2D computer-processed version of a 3D object. The successes were that I got something that looks like a little castle done! I am excited to see how I can progress; for now, small victories.
